About the Racer 5K
Background
The Racer 5K began in 2013, with the mission to have a fun morning running throughout our beautiful campus! It has grown yearly with tremendous community support. The funds raised go to supporting Murray State Cross Country, Track and Field programs.

Last Year Recap
Dylan Ellis had the fastest freshman 8k time in MSU history. There were four performances that landed on the MSU XC Top 10 list. Indoor MSU won 2 events at the MVC Championships while also setting 3 new school records. Outdoor DiamonAsia Taylor earned 2nd Team All-American status in the High Jump and Ruth Kimutai broke the school record in the Steeplechase.
